Chuck Krause

Chuck started his gymnastics coaching career in Florida in 1996 coaching for Tampa Bay Turners. While at Tampa Bay Turners, they produced 6 Junior Olympic National Team Members, and numerous state championship teams. He moved to California in 2001 and coached for Stars Gymnastics in Bakersfield and CCGI in Visalia.

Chuck attended East Stroudsburg University where he played football and baseball. He grew up in a gymnastics family having both an uncle and an aunt involved in gymnastics coaching.

Chuck is Safety Certified through USA Gymnastics.

 

Jennifer Shipman-Krause

Jennifer has been involved in the sport of gymnastics for 30 years. She has been involved as a gymnast in the Junior Olympic and Collegiate levels, as a coach, as a judge and as a representative of the National Association of Women's Gymnastics Judges and USA Gymnastics. Gymnastics is her passion and as a former Lescisin Gymnastics (Champion) athlete, she is the proud owner of Champion Gymnastics.

Jen attended San Jose State University where she got her Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science & Sociology. She then received her Juris Doctorate at Humphreys College School of Law in Stockton.

Jennifer started gymnastics at the age of 2 ½ right here at Champion Gymnastics (formerly Lescisin Gymnastics). She was a Junior Olympic Level 10 gymnast for 6 years and was the State Vault Champion 3 different years. Jennifer earned an athletic scholarship to San Jose State University.

Jennifer has been a rated gymnastics judge since 1989 and currently holds a National Rating. She has been invited to judge Junior Olympic National Championships 3 times in the last 6 years. She is also the current Regional Chairman for USAG Gymnastics representing Region 1.

Jennifer is Safety Certified through USA Gymnastics.

 

Jennifer Friend

Jen has 8 years of gymnastics training competing Levels 5 through 10. She has 5 years of competitive cheerleading experience cheering for Power All Stars and Bear Creek High School. She was on the High School diving team for 2 years and coached for Power Cheer for 2 years.

Jen currently attends Stanislaus State University majoring in Business.

Jennifer is a Level 5/6 Rated Judge for Women's Gymnastics. She is safety Certified through USA Gymnastics.

Jen enjoys shopping, Starbucks and sciences. Her brother, who is a US Marine, is her hero.
